An interest in history and the present for human activity and an aesthetic of life lead my steps as a photographer on a wild path.
They are accompanied by a conviction that seems to me to be expressed with more impact in black and white with infinite shades of gray to reveal those of light and shadow: the absence of color expands the possibility of abstraction and frees the interpretation of each photograph.
This explains why I gave the title So Many Stories to my artistic project. I recognize each photographed person in his identity and in his otherness, the multiplicity of contexts that I lived during the shots and therefore, the possible diversity of the feelings of the spectators in front of each photographer.
After several decades of practice, it is with a free and open mind that I began to share some of these “stories” on this site and during exhibitions in art galleries and museums.
