The Martinsville Garden Club and Garden Study Club worked together to host local Historic Garden Week tours of four locations in the area, two in Martinsville and two in Spencer, on Wednesday.
The Garden Club of Virginia is a non-profit organization consisting of 48 member clubs and 3,500 volunteers. Proceeds from Historic Garden Week fund restoration and preservation projects for Virginia’s historic public gardens, as well as graduate-level research grants.
