Earth Month GR Hosting Three Free Bike Events For The Community

Spring is here in West Michigan and with warmer weather on the way, people are heading outside to enjoy activities with friends and family.

One of the most popular activities to do is cycling, and GR Earth Month is hosting three free events this month to help cyclists in Grand Rapids.

Earth GR Hosts Three Bike Rallies In April

Marta Johnson, who is the co-chair of Earth Month GR, shared with Wooden TV because they host these bicycle demonstrations.

“We created these events because we know … that people are out there in Grand Rapids who want to try cycling more, but maybe they’re out of the habit or they’re just out of practice, intimidated or just need a little extra. support.”

Feast of the Earth will be held on Saturday, April 27 at Studio Park in Downtown Grand Rapids from 11am – 3pm.

Organizers say the event will be a casual family celebration of sustainable living in Grand Rapids.

It is encouraged to ride a bike or bus to the event, and while you are there enjoy a vegan burger or a BBQ lunch for free.

There will also be games and other fun activities.
