A small cat was found from inside an Amazon box in California after the animal went missing from Utah, surviving almost a week without water and food, as the owners of Galena were accidentally shipped without warning.New York Post.

Cat owner Carrie Clark said KSL-TV news agency: “I didn’t believe it at first and thought it was a joke.”

After noticing that the animal was not found, they began a rigorous search.

Clark explained: “Galena is a huge emotional support for me and has helped me through many health challenges in the last six years. The anxiety and stress of not knowing what happened to her was terrible” .

For six days, the owner and his family put up signs in the area asking for any information about their cat.

Later, Clark received a call from a veterinarian in California saying that Galena was taken to the clinic, where her microchip was scanned.

The vet explained that the cat had been brought in by an Amazon worker named Brandy, who found the feline in a return box with Clark’s home address, according to the outlet’s report.

“I ran to tell my husband that Galena had been found, and we left after realizing that it must have been thrown into a large box that we shipped the previous Wednesday,” said Clark.

“The box was a ‘try before you buy’ and full of steel-toed work boots,” he explained.

“Galena survived because of her microchip, Brandy’s kindness and generosity, and God’s grace!” she snapped.
