You’re Invited to Laramie’s Enchanted Garden Soiree Saturday

Looking for weekend plans or a fun date night in Laramie? Leadership Laramie, Toyota of Laramie, and Trailer Works of Wyoming invite the Gem City to a beautiful evening at the Enchanted Garden Soiree.

Join Leadership Laramie for an enchanted garden evening

Join Leadership Laramie tomorrow, Saturday, April 12, for an evening of local cuisine, put-put golf, and family fun. The event raises funds for the Downtown Clinic’s backyard project, which seeks to transform the Garden into a more community-oriented space. The projects include parasols “to expand the clinical space for counseling and social work appointments in the gardens of the Downtown Clinic during the warm months and the installation of accessible walking surfaces for all individuals.”

Expect a night full of fun, with:

  • Silent auction and fun activities: 50-50 drawings, auction items, mini-golf, and more.
  • Local food trucks: Sample eats from a diverse range of food trucks.
  • Specialty Brews: Bonds Brewing created a beer just for the event.
  • Garden Attire: Dress up in garden themed attire!
  • Family fun: Children are welcome at the event.

Where can I buy Garden Soiree tickets?

There is no cost to enter the event! Come hungry and ready to bid on one of the many unique auction items. Learn more about the event by clicking here.

About the Center Clinic

For more than 24 years, the Downtown Clinic has provided primary specialty care, mental health, social work and other health services to the uninsured community in Laramie. The Clinic is free to Albany County residents and anyone experiencing homelessness. In recent years, the Clinic has taken care of almost 400 people a year. According to a press release about the Garden Soiree, “The Clinic’s Healing Garden has helped build these relationships because it is a space that welcomes clients, volunteers and community supporters and, hopefully, brings joy and serenity to an appointment, a visit, or a celebration. The Garden also serves to increase the Clinic’s fresh food and flower program; at the Clinic, food and flowers are medicine.”

Plant some of these in your garden to keep mosquitoes at bay

As we said before, mosquitoes are the most dangerous creatures on earth. If you want to get away from your garden, these plants can help!
