Winter Garden to celebrate 10 years of pickleball

WINTER GARDEN, Fla. – The city of Winter Garden is celebrating 10 years of pickleball by throwing a three-day celebration at Veterans Memorial Park.

The Holy Paddle Day Winter Garden Community Pickleball Fest runs from Thursday, March 14th to Saturday, March 16th. It includes a three-day round robin tournament that is open to beginner, intermediate and advanced players. Participants receive a free event bag, t-shirt and more. Spectators are also welcome.

On the last day, the city will hold pickleball clinics from 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm Anyone can stop by to learn the game from local instructors and get information about group lessons offered through the Department of Parks and Recreation of the Winter Garden.

Veterans Memorial Park is located at 420 S. Park Ave. in the winter garden. There are 10 courts that are open every day from 7 am to 10 pm
