Pet of the Week: Ariel from Monty’s Home

WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) – Ariel, a 10-month-old Standard Poodle-Great Pyrenees mix, is available for adoption from Monty’s Home.

Up to date on his vaccinations, spayed, microchipped and taking worm preventatives, this adorable dog is looking for a forever home after completing the Monty’s Home Pawsitive Partners Prison Program.

Through the program, Ariel was trained in basic obedience and house manners. For more information on the Pawsitive Partners Prison program, visit the Monty’s Home site.

According to his handlers, Ariel is a very sweet dog who likes to chill and hang out with people. Also, he did very well around cats and other dogs.

His new family will receive a crate, training tools and training DVD.

Those who want to meet Ariel can do so from 2 to 4 pm on Sunday, January. 21, at the Animal Lovers Thrift Shop, located at 401 Hwy 117 S in Burgaw.
