Pet Dog Bites Woman In Arera Colony, Owner Booked

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Amid an increase in cases of stray dog ​​bites in the city, a woman who was attacked by a dog was reported on Sunday in Colonia di Arera. A dog belonging to a man in the colony of Arera bit the woman on Saturday evening, while she was walking. Habibganj police registered a case against the owner of the dog on the woman’s complaint.

Habibganj police station TI Manish Raj Singh Bhadoria said the complainant Taranjeet Singh (57) owns a business, and resides in E-2 of Arera colony. The woman told the police that, like every other evening, she had left her house for a walk when the dog belonging to a resident of the colony attacked and bit her leg. She started bleeding and called her family members for help.

His family members treated him at a nearby hospital and later approached the police on Sunday to file a case against the dog’s owner, Deepak Shrivastava. According to TI Bhadoria, Shrivastava told the police that he did not release the dog deliberately. The dog managed to leave the house as one of the servants opened the gate without realizing that the dog was off leash. Shrivastava told the police that her dog is vaccinated.
