MNDOT ADVISES NO TRAVEL FOR NW MINNESOTA

No travel advisories issued in northwest Minnesota

Heavy snow and limited visibility create hazardous driving conditions

BEMIDJI, Minn. – (7:45am) The Minnesota Department of Transportation advises against travel on highways in northwest Minnesota due to heavy snow and limited visibility. The no travel advisory includes the following roads:

  • Highway 1 – Thief River Falls to North Dakota
  • Highway 2-Crookston to North Dakota
  • Highway 9-Crookston to Ada
  • Highway 11-Karlstad to North Dakota
  • Hwy 75-Perley to Canada
  • Highway 200-Ada to North Dakota
  • Highway 220-Crookston to Highway 11

No Travel Advised means that visibility has been reduced to the point that it is very dangerous to travel. Motorists are advised not to travel in these areas until the high winds subside and conditions improve.
