Groot and ‘Wish’ topiaries taking root at 2024 EPCOT Flower & Garden Festival

BAY LAKE, Fla. – The sights and sounds of spring are being planted now at Walt Disney World Resort, with the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival prepare for a big party.

Starting from Feb. On the 28th, guests can explore and discover a handful of beautiful topiaries, enjoy the Garden Rocks concert series and savor delicious dishes throughout the vibrant season.

All new this year, guests have the chance to see “Groot” from Marvel’s “Guardians of the Galaxy” take root. The new topiary, located a few steps from Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, will join more than 70 other topiaries scattered throughout the theme park. In addition, Asha, Valentino and the Wishing Star, from the film of Walt Disney Studio Animation Studios “Wish” will be presented as topiaries at the main entrance of the park.

The Garden Rocks concert series amplifies the atmosphere every day at the American Garden Theatre.

“This year, we will welcome new groups, including Modern English, Crowder, Lit and Monsieur Perine. And for the first time, Raul Acosta & Oro Solido will share the stage with Magic Juan, then return the next day with Luisito Ayala and The Puerto Rican Power Band in a series of unforgettable performances,” Disney said on its blog.

Lunch packages for the Garden Rocks concert series opening in February. 6 for those looking for priority seating and the chance to eat at one of the seven EPCOT restaurants.

A basket full of flavors will attract foodies to this year’s festival Outdoor kitchen.

Guests have the opportunity to try dishes such as Chicken & Waffles, Muffuletta Panini or Chocolate Whiskey Cake. The festival also offers interactive entertainment for families to enjoy, including Spike’s Pollination Exploration scavenger hunt, Egg-stravaganza Hunt (happening for a limited time during the Easter season), a butterfly house and a family-themed field play garden with small the children

Festival merchandise will also be available at select locations around the theme park.

On its blog, Disney shared a first look at some of the merchandise featuring the Orange Bird character. Disney said for those who could not attend, official merchandising of the eventdThis, including Orange Bird clothing and a Butterfly Collection with Minnie Mouse, will be available on shopDisney starting March 4th.

The 2024 EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival will run until May 27.

The theme park is currently hosting EPCOT International Festival of the Arts, which runs until February. 19.
