Community Resilience Fair at North Bay Home and Garden Expo

The fair brings together presenters and exhibitors to raise awareness of the Good Life Goals and local initiatives related to climate change, food security, conservation and community well-being.

Clean Green Beautiful will host its first annual Resilience Fair, which will take place as part of the Home and Garden Expo from February 23-25 ​​at Memorial Gardens.

“The fair brings together presenters and exhibitors to raise awareness of the Bona Vita Goals and local initiatives related to climate change, food security, conservation and community well-being,” a press release says.

Highlights of the Resilience Fair will include:

  • Measure what you treasure: Ecological Footprint Calculator Participants begin their journey with a carbon footprint assessment and will receive a personalized report that identifies opportunities to reduce their environmental impact.
  • Workshops and Presentations. Local experts and thought leaders will share their insights on impactful actions individuals can take to promote resilience in the community. Topics will range from habitat creation and sustainable gardening to forest management, health and well-being, and will also include a family-friendly art workshop.
  • Community exhibitors. Attendees will discover a vibrant array of exhibitors from local organizations and businesses committed to sustainability and complete a passport activity for a chance to win prizes worth up to $200.

Event organizers hope the North Bay Resilience Fair will unite families, residents, businesses and community leaders around the common goal of creating a healthy, resilient and sustainable community.
