Adoptable pet: Chibi the Chihuahua mix

Chibi does well with a leash.

If you are looking for a small and sweet dog to complete your family pack, look no further because Chibi has you covered.

Chibi is in the City of Vicksburg, a shelter for animals, where she is waiting to meet her perfect person. She has been staying at the shelter for the past six weeks. His name means “small” and “cute” which is exactly what he is. Like all Chihuahuas, this mixed breed has a great personality, although it also has a quieter nature than most. According to Kacie Lindsey, director of the Shelter, “she’s more relaxed but she’s really sweet. She doesn’t jump or get too excited.”

Feature for adopted pets
Chibi likes green grass and fresh air.

Chibi is about two years old. He has a creamy golden coat of fur and black around his nose. Lindsey described Chibi as a small breed at the larger end of the size spectrum. So far, he gets along well with other animals. Given her genealogy, Chibi will likely choose a special person to bond with and love for life.

pet feature adopted
Chibi does well with a leash.

If you or someone you know may want to adopt Chibi, please contact or visit the City of Vicksburg Animal Shelter during business hours. Adoption fees include vaccinations and even a spay or neuter. If Chibi isn’t the perfect companion you’ve been looking for, there are plenty of other wonderful animals in need of homes to choose from.
