I have been using this cactus water fountain for a couple of months now and I absolutely love it. I’ve used the cheap plastic kind in the past and noticed that 1) they get dirty quickly and are a pain to clean, and 2) cats can kick or push them. This ceramic fountain solved all my problems, and the best part is that my two cats really love to drink out of it! It is heavy and does not move while they are trying to drink, and there have been no attempts to dismantle it. It gives a good flow from either side of the cactus in the middle, and my cats like to nibble on it or drink around the hole that the water flows from. This fountain is also super silent, although you will notice that it makes a little noise when the water is low (which helps to remember to clean and put in fresh water), and it closes completely when out of water to security Ample hydration is *so* important for cats, especially if they’re mostly on a dry food diet, so it’s worth investing in a proper water fountain that’s built to last. And that’s it.
