2024 Spring Garden Forums available online, in person this year – Jamestown Sun

North Dakota State University offers a series of free workshops for gardeners. spring

Fever Garden Forums will be held on Monday evenings from 6:30 to 8:30 pm CT from March 25th to April 15th. The Stutsman County Extension office will be holding these wonderful webinars.

series in person at the Extension office again this year. There will be a wide variety of topics

discussed, presented by well-rated speakers.

Some of the speakers include Don Kinzler (horticulture educator), Joe Zeleznik (Extension forester), Tom Kalb (Extension horticulturist), Jan Knodel (Extension entomologist), April Johnson (Extension pollinator technician) and many others. This webinar series will cover flower gardens, trees and tips, fruits and vegetables, and additional special topics. Some of the special topics include bees, crabgrass management in lawns, and the types of fungi that can help our gardens. Plus, there will be plenty of “freebies” in the in-person webinar series for gardeners to take home.

Gardeners have the option to watch online at home or at a participating NDSU Extension county office.
