Anniston, AL – As the winter chill begins to loosen its grip, garden enthusiasts in Anniston eagerly await the promise of vibrant flowers and the return of pollinators. To kick off the gardening season, the Anniston Museum and Gardens is hosting an insightful event titled “How to Attract Pollinators to Your Garden,” featuring Lisa Bartlett, Garden Manager for the Smith-Gilbert Gardens.

Scheduled for Thursday, February 15, at 12:00 pm, the event will take place at the Longleaf Event Center on the site of the museum. Lisa Bartlett, an expert in horticulture, brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to share with the participants.

Lisa is the driving force behind the maintenance of more than 4,000 plant species at the Smith-Gilbert Gardens, which include everything from rare perennial herbs to unique and unusual trees, including one of the most extensive Bonsai collections in the South – is.
