Clansman bullterrier Bruce has just beaten thousands of competitors to feature in the world’s cutest pet calendar 2024.
Owner Hazel Standish described Bruce as “a real cheeky chappie family pet with a big heart”.
At eight years old, Bruce showed his artist touch in competitions first.
He won Best in Show as well as first and second place at the dog show again at The Dog Barn, in Rainford, in his first competition.

She is still waiting to hear if she won a spot to be featured in a photo book with PraiseMyPet.com.
Bruce’s show name is Clansman Equalizer Player and perhaps some of the artist’s instinct is in the genes, with his father, also named Bruce, having played in Crufts.
Bruce has lived with owners Hazel, husband Paul and their 15-year-old daughter Ella since he was a puppy.
Hazel says she has lots of dog friends from Sherdley Park and Sutton Mill Dam, near where they live.
“He’s really popular in the community, he’s relaxed and really relaxed,” added Hazel, who works as a trainee food technician at Hope Academy school.
“He’s such a big part of the community around Sherdley Park, and everyone knows him.”
She said they are keeping an eye out for animal modeling opportunities for Bruce to use his talents.
Hazel added: “We are super proud of him, the bull terrier is a popular breed often seen with celebrities such as Taylor Swift, Eric Clapton, Lily Allen, Liam Gallagher, Princess Anne and Tom Hardy.
“We all remember the famous family film Oliver Twist with the famous bullseye bull terrier, you never know what could be Bruce’s next role!”
