When we invite an animal into our home, they quickly become part of the family and we treat their health with utmost importance.

Beloved pets may need to visit the vet for a number of reasons throughout their lives – whether for routine procedures such as spaying and neutering in early life, to other medical treatment later on .

Thanks to the hard working vets, we can, for the most part, know that our furry friends are in safe hands when we leave them at the pet hospital.

But when they come home, it takes some time for them to return to their most alert.

Cat and dog owners from around the world have shared hilarious snaps of their pets after taking them in from the vet – before the sedatives have completely worn off.

In fact, they seem to be unaware of anything.
