CULLMAN, Ala. – MacGyver is a name that since the mid-1980s has been synonymous with spontaneity, intelligence and skill, and it’s a perfect name for The Cullman Tribune’s pet of the week.

MacGyver is a 2-year-old labrador-terrier mix with a warm bronze coat and golden eyes that could melt the coldest of hearts, and the perfect mix of medium energy for a life full of wagging tail fun, fetch games and navigation. trails and parks. He likes to walk and run almost as much as he likes a treat from his companions, giving extra care and attention to learning commands and cues to earn the tasty snacks.

Although MacGyver may be skilled, intelligent and cunning, a favorite pastime is resting and recharging in his quiet kennel. He’s happy as a clam to be in his space as he happily awaits his next big adventure – will it be with you?

MacGyver is currently looking for adventure at the Cullman County Animal Shelter, and his $130 adoption fee includes his neuter, DHLPP shot, Bordetella shot, rabies shot, worming, general exam to the vet and the microchip.

Visit the shelter at 935 Convent Road NE, Monday through Friday, 9 am – 3:30 pm A meet and greet is encouraged by shelter staff to ensure a smooth transition and personality match.
