Pet Adoption Day Offered At Library

The City of Oakdale Animal Shelter will host a special adoption event at the Escalon Library on Saturday, November 4, from 10 am to 1 pm.

The theme will be “We’re Thankful for Our Pets” and the library will have a special activity for children in addition to the adoptable animals that are on site.

The staff at the Oakdale Animal Shelter carries many adult cats, kittens and dogs available for adoption. The special adoption fee for dogs will be $50 and for kittens, $25 or two for $25 if adopted in the same home. Adult cats will be free. All adoptions include spay/neuter, microchip and vaccinations. Donations of items for the shelter will also be accepted as part of this special program.

The Oakdale shelter serves the towns of Oakdale, Riverbank and Escalon.
