After three decades in business, Seeneys closed its doors for the last time in March, but a new shop has been opened by a regular customer.
Seeneys employees Paul, Tara and Megan have been hired by their new boss, Lee, to run a new store, Freddies, located in Coxeters Yard.
Just across the car park from the old Seeneys, Freddie’s has been open since April 2nd.
The store is still waiting for some items, but will stock pets such as horses, chickens, small animals, fish and, introducing for the first time in Abingdon, reptiles.
Lee secured a lease for the Coxeters House building.
