Absolutely not. These are to be planted during the fall and winter for flowering in the spring and we usually recommend to stagger the planting from October to January for a longer display in the spring.
This year, due to the exceptional heat in September and October, the temperature is still above average which means that we are only now really at the right time for the plant.
Many bulbs that could have been planted before can already be seen in the ground, with the foliage a few centimeters above the ground level.
We have to plant the bulbs at the right time so that they bloom at the right time so that the pollinators that depend on the flowering of crocus, muscari and others are not left with nothing.
