However, an expansion mod for Elden Ring caused some controversy. It is called Elden Ring: Garden of Eyesand add a wide variety of new content to the game, including weapons and armor, areas, Bloodborne-style gun parry and more. It sounds incredible, but the only problem is that it’s not free. Garden Of Eyes is a paid mod available through Patreon and is making quite a stir among pc users
Speaking in a Reddit post, a player he said “I don’t get the hype around the mod that much. I mean sure, credits and props to the creators of it, but it feels… Like too much. So many of the weapons feel so excessive, in a game where you Play as a Tarnished with no fame, I don’t think you should be able to handle the entire force of the galaxy.
The mod has been compared to another fan-made one Elden Ring expansion, Convergencewhich adds almost as much content but is completely free.
One player said “I can’t say much, but yes, I agree, and the best part about Convergence is that it’s free.”
Another added “I don’t mind mods doing some OTT stuff, but I do mind when mods are just fully paid.”
Finally a straight-up player pleads “Please do not support ‘Garden of Scams’. You will regret it. Support modders like Cleverraptor, Hotbike, Sykke and many others on Nexus.
