Arabian Travel Market 2024 set to open in Dubai on May 6

Dubai: The organizers of Arabian Travel Market 2024 (ATM) and representatives of the exhibition’s strategic partners, which include the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism (DET), Emirates, IHG Hotels & Resorts, and Al Rais Travel, have outlined their plans for the event, which takes place from Monday 6 May to Thursday 9 May at the Dubai World Trade Center (DWTC).

Due to adverse weather conditions and to ensure the safety of all participants and guests, the official ATM press conference scheduled for yesterday morning has unfortunately been cancelled. However, all partners emphasized their commitment to the show and the opportunities it offers.

The 31st edition of ATM is set to welcome more than 2,300 exhibitors and representatives from more than 165 countries, with 41,000 attendees expected under the theme “Empowering Innovation: Transforming Travel Through Entrepreneurship”, which highlights a pivotal area for the travel industry. travel and tourism.

From startups to established brands, ATM 2024 highlights how innovators are improving customer experiences, driving efficiency and accelerating progress towards a net zero future for the industry.

The number of participating hotel brands for ATM 2024 increased by 21 percent year-on-year, with a 58 percent increase in new Travel Technology products introduced.

Several new destinations will be introduced in ATM 2024, including China, Macau, Kenya, Guatemala and Colombia, while returning countries include Spain and France, among many others.

Increases in all key verticals with year-on-year growth in the share of all regions including ME 28 percent, Asia and Europe 34 percent, and Africa 26 percent.

A Summit dedicated to India will take place on the opening day of the ATM, highlighting a recent boom in outbound travel from the market.
