The front of the bike has a slanted LED headlight setup. The LED DRLs are U-shaped. The headlights are slightly angled, which helps reduce drag and direct the lights at a wider angle. The LED indicators are right next to the headlights. The suspension setup also has covers, making the electric bike look more aggressive.

The rear of the F77 also has an LED setup that includes headlights and indicators. The fender is a bit flimsy. The seats for the rider and the pillion are quite soft.

Although the style is of a bare sports bike, the posture can be a bit like that of a sports bike with a huge tank and the position of the driver’s seat. The charging port is located on the top of the tank like the other motors.

The F77 has a 5-inch TFT display that is advanced and has an intuitive user interface. It shows speed, modes, trip, time, battery percentage, mileage and network connection. It has three ways to laugh; driving, combat and ballistic.

Another exciting feature of the electric bike, the F77, is its absence of a gearbox and clutch lever. If you are used to riding traditional motorcycles, this might initially be confusing when switching to an electric bike.

Performance

The Ultraviolet F77 is a powerhouse on two wheels with its Permanent Magnet AC Motor. Throttle control is managed by ride-by-wire technology. Ride-by-wire does not use wires connecting the accelerator (throttle) to the throttle body. The technology uses a sensor that is connected to the ECU which helps in various things such as improved performance, safety and flexibility.

The F77 has an impressive peak power of 27 kW and peak torque of 85 Nm for the standard version and a peak power of 29 kW and torque of 95 Nm for the Recon model. With the power, the standard variant has a top speed of 140 km/h and the Recon has a top speed of 147 km/h. The standard model accelerates from 0 to 60 km/h in just 3.4 seconds and reaches 100 km/h in 8.3 seconds, while the Recon variant picks up, reaching 0-60 km/h in 3 ,1 seconds and 0-100 km. /h in 8 seconds.

Supporting the performance of the F77 is an SRB7 battery pack for the standard and an SRB10 battery pack for the Recon. The standard version has a capacity of 7.1 kWh, while the Recon grows with a larger capacity of 10.3 kWh. This provides an IDC range of 206 Km in the Std model while an IDC range of 307 Km in the Recon model. Charging times vary with the standard charger, taking about 5-6 hours for the standard variant and 8-9 hours for the Recon model. There is also an optional charger that can speed up charging.

The Ultraviolet F77 has a robust Trellis Steel frame complemented by an Aluminum bulkhead. The frame also has crash guards to protect the electric bike. The suspension setup includes an upside-down telescopic fork up front, with the Recon model adding preload adjustment for customization. The rear mono-shock is also preload adjustable which handles bumps quite well.

When it comes to braking, the F77 is equipped with hydraulic disc brakes with BOSCH dual channel ABS. The front has a Fixed 4-piston type radial caliper with a 320mm disc, while the rear has a Single piston floating caliper with a 230mm disc. Tires include a 110/70 R17 at the front and 150/60 R17 at the rear.

Connectivity, Security and Features

The Ultraviolette F77 comes equipped with LTE connectivity and integrated eSIM. Wi-Fi capabilities support 802.11a/b/g/n/ac standards along with Bluetooth 5.0 compatibility to improve connectivity. It also has GPS/GLONASS positioning for accurate and reliable navigation assistance. The F77 also has an app with which riders can connect to the bike and see all the information about the bike.

The Ultraviolet F77 has a range of safety features such as Dual-Channel ABS, a traction control system to prevent wheel spin, and three Ride Modes; Glide, Combat, and Ballistic for different conditions. Crash detection system is integrated for safety during collision. It also has Geofencing for safety that allows riders to set virtual limits for bike movement. In addition, the F77’s battery safety measures are robust, employing a Multi-Level Protection System, an IP67 enclosure, advanced cell chemistry, and a Battery Management System to safeguard against mechanical, thermal, electrical issues and software.

The characteristics of Ultraviolet F77 are as follows:

  • Peak Power – Std: 27 kW | Recon: 29 kW
  • Peak torque – Std: 85 Nm | Recon: 95 Nm
  • Acceleration – Std: 0-60 in 3.4 sec | Recon: 0-60 in 3.1 sec
