Glenmore is getting a new 830 square metre community garden

Glenmore residents with a green thumb will be excited to hear what is being built this spring.

Construction on a new community garden will begin at the end of the month and is expected to be completed in May.

<p dir=The new 830 square meter community garden will be located at 259 Glenmore Rd N.

It will have 31 garden boxes, along with an eight-foot wildlife fence to keep out mooching animals.

According to the City of Kelowna, the new community garden will be managed by the Hayfield Horizon Community Garden Association.
