On the eve of the Grand Départ of the Tour de France in Florence, Italy, Paul Lapeira, champion of France last week in Saint-Martin-de-Landelles in La Manche, received his new Van Rysel RCR Pro in the colors of his tricolor shirt. .

25. This is the number of victories that Vincent Lavenu’s team has collected in 2024, at the time of writing these lines. The last one was a week ago, in the English Channel, when Paul Lapeira put on the jersey of the champion of France. The latter has just, as is tradition, unveiled his bike in the colors of his tricolor jersey.

Since 2024, the French team evolves with Van Rysel RCR Pro bikes (and XCR for the chrono). We tried it last year. Two levels of frames are commercially available. The RCR and RCR Pro (used by Decathlon runners), with a stiffer layup. Thanks to the high-end carbon fiber, Van Rysel managed to reduce the weight of the Pro frame to only 790 g, painted, in size M. The fork remains at 380 g.
